About Our Beloved Cats
The cats at Hill House are well-cared for by local volunteers. They have all been spayed/neutered, blood-tested, and vaccinated, and receive regular deworming treatments. Our furry friends live happily in the Hill House garden.

Room Japan offers a share house in Tokyo with over 400 square meters of space. Enjoy our courtyard and free studio for relaxation, reading, and sunbathing. This wonderful environment is made even better by the presence of four friendly cats in the courtyard, ready for interaction. However, please remember to be respectful of the cats and follow share house rules for harmonious living.
Free Music Studio for Residents
Our on-site music studio is a dedicated space available for residents to practice their instruments. To ensure everyone can enjoy the space, we kindly ask that practice sessions are limited to a maximum of 1 to 2 hours per session. Thank you for your understanding.
Studio Usage Guidelines (Air Conditioning)
In August 2024, air conditioning was installed for your comfort. Please help us maintain a pleasant environment and conserve energy by following these guidelines:
- Temperature Setting: Please be mindful of the temperature difference between indoors and outdoors to avoid strain and high electricity bills. The Ministry of the Environment recommends aiming for around 25°C in summer and 22°C in winter for energy efficiency without compromising comfort.
- Timer Setting: When you enter the studio, please turn on the air conditioner and set the timer for 1 or 2 hours according to your schedule. This helps prevent unnecessary energy use.

Music Studio Usage Rules
- Usage Fee: Free
- Usage Time: Up to 2 hours per day
- Security: Please lock the door after use.
- Location: Within the Hill House premises
- Available Hours: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Reservations: Possible from the day before.
- Reservation Policy: Please only reserve if you intend to use the studio during that time.
